Welcome to Expose Quacks!
Expose Quacks is your outlet to expose quackery.
For many people, having surgery is scary. It’s especially scary when the surgery doesn’t turn out well. The first thing that goes through your mind is whether or not the bad outcome can be revised with another surgery. At that point, you’re forced to place a lot of trust in the very person who might be responsible for your predicament — your doctor. I know, because I’ve been there.
The overwhelming majority of doctors are honest about whatever complications a patient has, and why the patient had them, but some doctors are not so forthcoming. I had an experience wherein my doctor did not tell me that I had complications (complications for which she was responsible). What compounded the problem was that I couldn’t go to another doctor, because doctors don’t like to “steal” patients from other doctors (they generally require a 90-day waiting period). Because I was in that situation, I had no choice but to trust my doctor, who was entirely responsible for my situation.
I hope that other people can use my experience to prevent something similar happening to them — I can think of very few things worse than going through what I went through. If you’ve been the victim of quackery, contact me, and if I get multiple complaints about a particular physicians, I’ll forward the information to lawyer, and you might be able to participate in class action lawsuit against your physicians. Read here to understand why, in Alabama, it is so difficult to successfully sue physicians, why it is therefore sometimes preferable to sue negligent physicians in a class action suit, and to learn the purpose of this site.
